Life’s too short not to be doing what you love

Life’s too short not to be doing what you love

At the moment I’m sending out my resume, in deep search for a new job. When I started high school, at 16 years old, I never imagined becoming a hairdresser. I actually wanted to go design & textile and then major in sewing and designing clothes. I can’t say I regret my decision, because having a high demanded job which I can apply anywhere in the world is great. But I can’t see myself in this business for the rest of my life. I can’t see myself at my workplace because I don’t see a future there. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t believe I can grow into a higher position there.

Life’s too short not to be doing what you love. And it’s time to implement what I say into actions.

These pictures were taken a while back when I filmed my autumn try on haul (link). Though I won’t be wearing light pink pants anymore – I do have the same pants in a dark burgundy color which is so perfect for this time a year.

Early morning walks

Early morning walks

I just love snuggling up in cozy jumpers and this has absolute been my favorite the last couple of days.

This was taken a couple of days back when we were out for a early (late) walk. It was actually before 12 o’clock which meant not too many people on the streets. So I made sure to take out my camera, set it up on the stroller and do a little photo shoot.

Before I forget there will be a new video up on my YouTube channel today at 14 pm. I’ll be taking a look at my old diaries and reading some of the stories from way back in the days.

Happy Sunday!

Red is my new favorite color

Red is my new favorite color

I definitely need to find some new outfit locations because my house is running out of space. Luckily I did manage to pull this off with my phone hanging on a tripod attached to the crib and with a timer in my hand I had my own little photoshoot.

The weight of the world on my shoulders

The weight of the world on my shoulders

I’m already on my second cup of coffee which I usually never drink but today it’s absolutely nesaccary. With only 8 hours of interrupted sleep and a nap where I couldn’t even snooze off for two minutes, it’s safe to say I’m very tired. My body is so stiff and I feel this heavy weight on my shoulders. Probably a mix of stress, too little sleep and in much need of a long massage.

Having a 7 month baby is so much more work then what it was four months ago. I love every minute spent with my son, but I feel like I’m running on my last battery here. When and how I will be able to recharge will only be shown in the future. For now I wanted to share my outfit pictures I took the other day.

All smiles every day

All smiles every day

There is really no reason not to smile when the weekend is just around the corner. I’m spending today with family and I’m going to try to take a break from social media this weekend, except maybe posting once.. or twice.

A little outfit shoot we had the other day. Still trying to be comfortable in front of the camera again. And I’m trying out different editing styles, but I can’t really decide on what I actually like. What do you think?

NYX matte lip cream 4-stars

nyx

Easy to apply, non sticky with a matt finish. The only reason this didn’t get a five star rating from me was that it’s not that long lasting, and it can dry out your lips a little.

BareMinerals powder foundation:3-starsbm
This foundation works with your skin and gives you a natural look, perfect for those lazy days where you only need a light coverage. Doesn’t give you a full coverage and  I have gotten some dry patches when using this is curtain areas.

BareMinerals bronze powder:stars-kopi

This is the best contouring powder I’ve every used and it deserves a five star rating. Easy to apply, you don’t need much product and it has lasted me for years.

Smashbox contour trio:2-stars

I was really exited to try this, but truth be told, smash box disappointed me. The lightest color, which is ment for highlighting, is even darker then my regular foundation. The only good thing is the two different shades of darker contour pens. But then again, they are hard to blend.

L’orèal perfect liner:stars-kopisuperliner

By far the best liner I’ve tried. It has a small tip which makes it easy to apply a nice winged liner and you don’t necessarily need a eyelid primer beforehand cause it will stay in place all day.

BareMinerals complexion rescue4-stars

This is a light coverage BB/CC cream. Like all the other Bare Mineral products, it works with your skin and gives you a really nice glow. The only down side is that you don’t get a lot for you money. It’s quite expensive and doesn’t last more then 4 months.

L’orèal volume mascara4-stars

I’ve always gone back to this mascara after trying several different once over the years. It gives you length and volume, and it doesn’t clump. However it doesn’t give you the perfect curl to your lashes even if you use an eyelash curler.

I hope this review was helpful for up and coming beauty products you want to buy. These are products I’ve mostly used over the last year and they are all my honest opinion.

The winner is definitely BareMinerals bronze powder & I will also go back and buy more of NYX matte lip cream.
