Home sweet home

Home sweet home

Home at last. I’ve been up since 7 a.m because we were going to leave the house an hour later. One hour become two, and eventually we were on our way to Sweden. Today we planned on buying food for almost the entire family. Which ment a lot of halal meat, capri-sun and as we speak a full fridge. After about five hours we arrived home and I’m finally sitting down on the couch and taking a breather.

Tomorrow is a new week and a chance to start over again. Also a new YouTube video! Hopefully I’l be able to pre-film something as well.

Have a great Sunday!

Review: Everyday make-up

Last week a made a ‘Everyday make-up routine’ video and this week I reviewed the products that I used.

Top 3 favorites:
♥ Loreal True Match – Vanilla 02
♥ Bare Minerals – Warmth
♥ Loreal – Volum Million Lashes

Loreal True Match foundation is one of the foundations I’ve started to love only after using it a moths. It’s easy on the skin, doesn’t clump or dry up and it lasts all day.

Bare Minerals are products I can vouch for and I’ve never been disappointed. Even though it’s more pricy, you get A LOT from the products. A rough and powder foundation you can have up to 1 year!

Loreal Volum Million Lashes is the best mascara I’ve found the last five years. It divides and lengthen your own lashes, it doesn’t clump and it lasts up to 6 months.

New make-up video

New make-up video

Yes, it has stopped snowing! Waking up and only seeing white outside your window is the worst, especially since the snow finally started to melt the last couple of weeks. Now we’re back at it again, and it’s March and stuff. I guess we’ve gotta wait for spring a little longer.

I finally released a new video on YouTube and it’s my go-to make-up whenever I’m in a rush, which is like every single day. I usually don’t were make-up as often as I did before, just because I don’t want to get used to only seeing my face fully made up and not liking how I actually look. I see so many girls that hate to go outside their own home without mascara or blush, and it’s not supposed to be that way. Make-up should be fun and artistic, and not a daily need for it.

I wil hopefully also shoot and release a review of the products used in the video above. Have a lovely Wednesday. Only two more days till the weekend!

Shopping

Shopping

Usually when I go on vacation I write a day-by-day experience. This time, as you know, I decided I needed a break and left all my blogging obligations at home. But now that the holiday is officially over with my first workday behind me, I will give you a recap of our holiday the next couple of days.

We decided to have one shopping day, which turned into two days, but a day completely to buying stuff and using well earned money. This was, ‘surprisingly’, my idea because I could’t wait to go to Oxford Street. After hearing how many stores there actually are, my inner shopping addicted came alive. Even though we were there when it was ‘low-season’ there where so many people! We walked around for hours, and lucky I had my sneakers on because I couldn’t have handled it any other way. The first store we saw was Primark, and since we don’t have this at home we had to go in. Everything is so cheap there, and I ended up with loads of things that I actually didn’t need. And because it’s so cheap you kinda end up with way too many things and the total amount rises higher then you think.

Grey coat: 20£
White, sleeveless jacket: 14£
Scarf: 3£
Make-up sponge: 1.50£
Face brush: 1.50£

I just have to mention that the face brush is so good! I strongly recommend it for everyone. It’s a great way to deep cleans your face even more, once a week. Either with your normal cleanser or with a peeling.

I also bought some cosmetics at Boots and some stuff at Victoria Secret.
