I really want to take a moment and look back at the pregnancy I’ve had. This was my first one and there something special about all firsts I think. You experience everything with new and curious eyes. You’ll wonder if things are normal because this new journey you’ll about to go on hasn’t been a reality for you. So this is a summary of my 38 week long pregnancy.
♥ Week 3: We’ve got a positive pregnancy test on the 18th of May 2016.
♥ Week 6: Feeling very nauseated – and suddenly the smell and taste of coffee is disgusting.
♥ Week 8: Feeling nauseated every single day and spending my 3 week holiday at home on the couch watching reruns of old shows. Dozing off in the middle of the day because of tiredness.

♥ Week 13: Finally got the nerve to tell my mum about her first grandchild.
♥ Week 14: And then also told my dad about his first grandchild.
♥ Week 16: Told my boss at work that I was expecting, and suddenly more and more people around me knew about my little secret I’ve been carrying around
♥ Week 17: Felt babys first tiny movements.
♥ Week 18: Ultrasound! We could finally find out the sex of the baby and if everything is ok.
♥ Week 19: First stranger, a customer at work, asked if I was pregnant.
♥ Week 20: My belly is growing real fast now. Starting to get pains on the right side of my leg. And suddenly I can’t hold my bladder for as long as I used to.
♥ Week 21: Bought my first ‘mummy’-shirt and baby clothes with my cousin.
♥ Week 23: Felt babys first real kick. Sudden nausea also occurs, and I’m still tired but not as much as the first trimester.

♥ Week 25: First breastmilk arrived.
♥ Week 26: Lots of movements and flips in the morning. The weeks are starting to get by a little bit too fast now.
♥ Week 27: 90 days left! Starting to get bad gums – bleeding while I brush my teeth.
♥ Week 28: Baby is so much more active, also when I’m at work.
♥ Week 30: Began painting the nursery.

♥ Week 32: Finished the nursery and finally ordered a stroller. Sudden tiredness appears which ment sleeping more. While working I got more of a lower back pain.
♥ Week 33: Started drinking 3 liters of water everyday which also ment going to the toilet more then once every hour. Heating bag for my back was a necessity.

♥ Week 34: Suddenly noticed my hair getting really thick.
♥ Week 35: First pre labour contractions which lasted a couple of seconds. Constant pain down both side of my back, which turned out to be pneumonia.
♥ Week 37: Got stinging pain at my left lower back which lasted a couple of days. Every kick and movement is getting stronger, and baby is now pushing down.
♥ Week 38: Hurts to stand up straight especially on my right leg. Craving lots of carrots. And suddenly at the end of the week baby arrived.
