The week that went too fast

The week that went too fast

It’s Friday again and suddenly you’re sitting alone in your house wondering how time could go by so fast. A week ago I had just gotten home from Edinburgh, but I didn’t unpack until today. I only had 3 full days with my cousin but we managed to do a whole lot in those days. I’m so glad I have the opportunity to see her once in a while because we truly have the best time together. We can talk about anything and everything, and even though we have two different faiths, we support and respect each other. I was quite nervous seeing her again because she hadn’t seen me in hijab before, expect for my videos. Thank God, she was so sweet and understand and always gave me space and time to pray.

I wanted to take a moment and throw it back to a week ago and share some fond memories we made.

Day 6: Early birthday celebration

Day 6: Early birthday celebration

Today I got spoiled with cake, gifts and food. Since we’re leaving tomorrow for Italy we had an early birthday celebration with the closest family. I really didn’t ask for anything other then a couple of things I order weeks beforehand from Amazon. But I did wish for a cake which I got and it was by far the best cake I’ve tasted in a long time. And it was no other then a NUTELLA cake, like seriously.. that there just needed caps lock cause I didn’t even know it was possible. But Oma did it so good but I couldn’t manage more then one piece.

We had dessert before dinner and after opening some presents we ate chicken and three well made salads.

In the evening I finally got to drive our rented car up to Hohenpeissenberg where we saw the most beautiful sunset on the way down. I’m totally in love with sunsets because it’s such a beautiful end to a day. And every sunset I see always gets more beautiful which is hard to believe is possible, because just look at this..

And of course the ‘Kicker’ had to find it’s way out from the garage so it could be played on a couple of times.

Now I’m almost done packing for tomorrow and I’m so tired I’m about to fall asleep so I’ll end it here.

Day 4: Dittelhoffersee

Day 4: Dittelhoffersee

Today’s trip went to Weilheim again where we actually wanted to have a swim/tanning day at the beach. But the sun couldn’t decide whether to come out or stay in, so after 1 short hour the trip went into the city again. I finally got my workout shoes. This time from Adidas for ‘only’ 119 €, but I did get 10 € discount. They’ll last at least 1000 km the salesman said so now I just have to start to run.

Unfortunately my camera skills didn’t come to use today other then to get one good picture..

The night went to an hour sleep in the evening, dinner and then a late night walk/run. My new shoes were absolutely amazing and really gives me the comfort I need when walking and running. I also got to see the sunset, and what a beautiful picture God paints every night. It gets me every time and I couldn’t help but to stare and of course pull out my phone and take some pictures.

Day 12: Full workout day

Day 12: Full workout day

The day started off with way too little sleep and a lot of back and forth cause I needed a bike. At last after being to a family friend to fix a pump then to two sport stores just to find the first one closed we finally found a bike. And not just any bike but a electronic one. It helps you to cycle Eco friendly, standard or high which is most suited for hills. If you don’t like any of these settings you just go to no assistants. It was so much fun though and when we finally were on the way the sun was shinning and I got my workout and tan all in one. My mum and I went to Hohenpeissenberg, had a good talk and something to cool us down with.

Day 11: Beach & sunset

Day 11: Beach & sunset

It’s safe to say that it was about 30 degrees today, that’s also why I didn’t go to the beach before 3 pm. It was so hot but so nice as well. I’m trying to charge up with as much sun as possible and enjoying every moment! In the evening I went for a walk because I wanted to see the sunset and ended the day with watching Step up 3.

Day 6: Beach photo shoot

Day 6: Beach photo shoot

The day started of with me sleeping in, or at least trying. And then the day went on to Schoungau with Lisa and her family to do some shopping. I found a pair of striped trousers which I’ve searched for and some studded flats. All really cheap so I see it as a bargain cause it would have cost me double the price back home.

Later that afternoon we went to meet Granny to have some ice cream and spending some quality family time. In the evening we all went home and the day ended with a photo shoot at the beach where I finally could wear my new dress from New look.
