I can’t believe it’s been half a year
Time flied by like a night in disguise
One second ago I held you close
Two little feet, ten little toes
First a smile, then a laugh
Now six months later you’re rolling around
Finding your hands to your toys
Soon you’ll be able to walk and talk
While you’re growing up, we’re growing old
Stop time a little so we can be with you even more
There is no rush, so I’ll stop searching for the next milestone
And enjoy the time with our firstborn child
It’s finally Friday, the best day of the week! Even though it’s Friday for me almost every day, it’s nice to spend some quality time with the rest of the family when the weekend finally arrives. The little one has gotten a new toy and was wide awake until a minute ago. I’ll sneak into the bedroom in a couple of minutes, and figures crossed, also get some sleep. The last couple of nights have been rough and not getting a decent amount of sleep in one go is exhausting for the body. But I haven’t planned anything major today and I defiantly need a leisure day where I have absolutely nothing planned.
There is only so much time in one day and when most hours go by to cook, clean, feed or change a diaper, there is only a little amount left. So you have to make the most of every minute especially when it comes to working out. I’ve found that multiple exercises put together is a great way to save time but also getting a full body workout. I stick to short workouts with a maximum of 5 exercises. If I want I’ll do a longer warm up, like today.
I started of with a 45 minute walk around the neighborhood to get my legs moving and body warmed up. When I got back home I only had a limited amount of time before I had to give the little one food again. So no time waisting I found 2 dumbbells & an ab roller. This is all you’ll need for this quick workout, and a couple of minutes to spare. I repeated the set 3 times with 12 repetitions.
If I can do it, you can do it too!
This is our last fight
We all know the ending
There is only one destination
We know what will happen
Neither the rich nor the poor get away
In the end we will all be in the same place
Whether you are a believer or not
But you can’t deny the fact
This life only lasts a short period
So don’t be fooled by the comfort of this world
Cause it’s only given to us for a brief time
Untill the term appointed by our Lord
Between diaper changing and feeding there isn’t a lot of free time to what I used to be able to do in a day. I’m lucky if I’m able to get one set of laundry going and get the dishes from last night out of the way. A shower is also highly appreciated cause that’s a little ‘me time’ squeezed in to the day.
I can’t wait to get a normal routine going again but right now it’s a bit difficult cause I never know when the little one wants food. Which can vary from every hour to every three hours. Anyway, as for now I’ll count myself lucky if I get one blog post a week out, but I’m going to try my best to write more then that.
We grow up in social media, searching for likes and comments. Most days fly by, time is running. Searching for followers, telling ourself we’re not alone.
Don’t you know by now, we’ve grown up listening to lies. No like or comment will follow you, cause we live to die.
We learn how to make a living, but not how to live. Run for your life till you find life, and start living again.
Today time ran away from me and before I knew it I had to make my way to work. Planning on posting before I left was a bit ambitious, since time never is on my side. Seems like we don’t have enough of it. But before I left I managed to shoot a couple of outfit pictures. Tried a turban style today which I have been in love with lately. Let me know if you’d like a tutorial on that style.

Recently I’ve started a new project, trying to expand my creativity and challenge myself. After buying way to much fabric cos I’m still new to this area, I have slowly begun. What I have learned, especially when I don’t master the craft perfectly yet, it is extra important to divide your time on the project. Do not to rush yourself and try not to do everything at once. Even though you wish you could see the result right away. When you then do spend time on your new project, it will probably be a few hours and you won’t give up when things go wrong. Just don’t go too long without doing anything. Because then it will probably be set aside and after many years and a spring cleaning you will find it in the trash.
And before I go, I will share with you a quote, do you know who said this?
“Creativity is intelligent having fun”
The best part of any day is the morning. Especially when it’s the weekend and you have all the time in the world. I took some extra time making today’s breakfast, and couldn’t help myself but to take some feel-good pictures. There is nothing better then the smell of fresh pressed coffee, having some long lost me-time.
Both my cat and I are located perfectly on the couch. Even though it looks like she can relax better then myself. My goal today is that I will try to take this day one minute at a time, because there is no hurry to rush. It is Sunday, and I think the last the of the week should be held close with comfort before we arise into a new week.
