Review: Everyday make-up

Last week a made a ‘Everyday make-up routine’ video and this week I reviewed the products that I used.

Top 3 favorites:
♥ Loreal True Match – Vanilla 02
♥ Bare Minerals – Warmth
♥ Loreal – Volum Million Lashes

Loreal True Match foundation is one of the foundations I’ve started to love only after using it a moths. It’s easy on the skin, doesn’t clump or dry up and it lasts all day.

Bare Minerals are products I can vouch for and I’ve never been disappointed. Even though it’s more pricy, you get A LOT from the products. A rough and powder foundation you can have up to 1 year!

Loreal Volum Million Lashes is the best mascara I’ve found the last five years. It divides and lengthen your own lashes, it doesn’t clump and it lasts up to 6 months.

A day at home

A day at home

Today I took a day off work, just because. I don’t feel the same drive and ambition towards my job and then it’s no point for me to work even though I get paid. Because we depend on the income of our customers to get paid, there was really no point in going to work when I only had one client today. It’s also nice to take a breather once in a while and recharge.

Ahead of me awaits breakfast, video editing and a job application. For some reason I always get nervous to personally deliver a CV, even though I talk to stranger every single day. The most important thing for me is to not think about it too much beforehand and remember that I’ve done this before.

Tips on submitting an application personally:

  • Dress in something you are comfortable in, but be presentable at the same time
  • Have all your papers ready. Most companies want to see a CV, certificate and diploma
  • Think ahead of what you want to say
  • Take x numbers of breaths
  • Greet the boss with a smile and a handshake

Whatever happens, happens. If it’s ment to be you will be called in for an interview, if not, something better awaits you!

Comment below and let me know if you have any adding tips to the list above.

Shades of Grey

Shades of Grey

It’s been two days since my fiasco with the car and it’s not going a 100% yet so I will take it to the repair shop tomorrow. Hopefully I will get home safely today. Nothing really exciting happening when you’re not going to work but I did finish filming another video which will go live on Monday at 12 p.m.

For the rest of day I’m going to relax, eat good food and enjoy the moment.

New make-up video

New make-up video

Yes, it has stopped snowing! Waking up and only seeing white outside your window is the worst, especially since the snow finally started to melt the last couple of weeks. Now we’re back at it again, and it’s March and stuff. I guess we’ve gotta wait for spring a little longer.

I finally released a new video on YouTube and it’s my go-to make-up whenever I’m in a rush, which is like every single day. I usually don’t were make-up as often as I did before, just because I don’t want to get used to only seeing my face fully made up and not liking how I actually look. I see so many girls that hate to go outside their own home without mascara or blush, and it’s not supposed to be that way. Make-up should be fun and artistic, and not a daily need for it.

I wil hopefully also shoot and release a review of the products used in the video above. Have a lovely Wednesday. Only two more days till the weekend!

A normal Sunday

A normal Sunday

As we speak I’m uploading a new YouTube video. As soon as it’s live tomorrow at 12 p.m. I will link it here as well. Hopefully you’ll like it as much as I do. Cause I love to put my effort into these videos and editing has become quite fun! The videos will contain the things I love, like fashion & beauty. Look books, reviews, make-up tutorials, holiday videos and much more!

Today was a very chill day and I tried to enjoy it as much as I could before going back to work tomorrow. Luckily I only have to work 6 hours tomorrow and the upcoming week I have a lot of short shifts. I finished my usual Sunday cleaning, finally worked out again and I ate, a lot.

Since my internet is laging a lot right now I will cut it short and say good night. Sleep tight.

Here are some highlights from my 4 day vacation in Crete, Greece. Enjoy!

To do

To do

I always feel some sort of guilt when I spend Sunday on the couch doing nothing, like absolutely nothing. It’s hard to shut off your brain and allow yourself one day, just one freaking day to yourself.

to-do-list

I have a list of things I should do if I would find the motivation but there is none. The list goes on from blogpost to video making and cleaning the apartment. But you know what, I only get one of these days once in a while. I’ve worked 5 days, my shoulder is in pain after this weeks customers so I think I need to allow myself a break. My list can wait and even though I havn’t stept a foot outside, I’m content on my couch. I’m going to stop feeling sad and sorry for myself because it’s not getting me anywhere. I’m going enjoy today till tomorrow comes and a new work week is on.

Day 1: Weilheim

Day 1: Weilheim

Back again after a day with shopping, I’m setting in my bed, and like I said we went to Weilheim. I didn’t find everything I wanted to buy but some things at the drugstore and then two crop tops which weren’t planned at all. Still looking for a light jacket, workout clothes and shoes and maybe work shoes. I’ll see what I’ll find the next days but I’ll have to remember to save my money for Italy as well.

I finally got my objectives for my NIKON 1 camera which I’m so exited for. Still gotta figure out how everything works but I’m sooo happy. Of course I forgot my battery on my way to Weilheim so today’s outift pictures will come in iPhone quality.

Today’s buys:

Now there’s some video editing on the plan but I’m sure I’ll lay my head down to rest soon.
